Our Kitty Tube Replacement Vent Cap features a new updated design that makes installation and removal a breeze! Simply insert the cap with gasket into the vent cap hole on the Kitty Tube lid and screw on the plastic nut for a perfect fit!
This vent cap eliminate moisture laden air that can build up under the top lid. This moisture laden air can cause condensation in certain temperature swings. This cap serves the same purpose as the vents on the roof of your own home that expel excessive moisture in the winter and heat in the summer. Using this vent cap in your Kitty Tube is very important to maintain a dry interior for your cat.
NOTE: This cap can be installed on all older model Kitty Tubes and will greatly improve its performance. To install a vent cap on non Generation 3 Kitty Tubes a 1½ inch hole is needed on the top dead center of the lid to install. We recommend using a standard 1½ inch hole saw to make this hole.
