The Kitty Tube Safe Low Voltage Outdoor Electric Heating Pad with Soft Fabric Cover

Our soft and flexible heating pad is always on, emitting a consistent, low level of warmth that, in conjunction with the Kitty Tube's insulation and design, creatimng a cozy cocoon to keep your cat warm and comfortable in cold weather. No need to mess around with thermostat settings or concerns that the pad it too hot for your feline friend. This low voltage, always on heat is the perfect addition to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the coldest of weather. Can be used with either our Kitty Tube Pillow or Straw option!

This heater is a SAFE design- meaning there is no high voltage power inside the Kitty Tube. This design eliminates the risk of fire or electrocution to your pet. The plug in adapter and cord are waterproof and safe to use outdoors and can be used with a outdoor rated extension cord if needed.  

  • Always on, soft, warm and completely rated for outdoor use
  • Safe low voltage design
  • The Kitty Tube heating pad provides continuous heat which will never exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit. (105 degrees F is the maximum safe temperature for cats)
  • AC 100-240 Volt input. 12 volt DC output to the heater. Power consumption is 18 watts
  • Rated and tested for indoor and outdoor use. The heater and all components are fully sealed and waterproof.
  • Measures approx. 16" round
  • Safe to use on top of either our pillow or straw bedding.
  • Size gives kitty the option to lay on the heating pad or next to it.
  • The cord length runs approximately 4' chew proof plus 4' regular cord from outlet to the Kitty Tube. 
  • Breakaway cord design allows the heating pad cord to be run through a small, designated hole on the side of The Kitty Tube.

How to test to see if your heater is functioning properly:

Since our Kitty Tube Heating Pad is so low voltage, sometimes customers wonder if it is functioning properly. To test this, bring the heater indoors and roll it into a burrito shape. Plug it in for 10 minutes and then slip your hand inside. If it is warm, then it is working properly. This low voltage, always on heat is all you need to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the cold weather.

    This is my second low voltage heating pad. They are perfectly designed for the Kitty Tube, providing warmth for the outdoor cats. My first one lasted several years and we kept it plugged in for the entire winter.

    This product works well for outside cats. It stays warm, not hot. I put it in their bed and they seem to love it.

    BEST EVER HEATED PAD

    This is our second heating pad after the first one stopped working after 3 winters (on all the time). This replacement (and a spare) arrived just in time for a week of record cold temps and SNOW in San Antonio. The feral cats we take care of were grateful when we hooked these up for them! They only leave their shelter to eat and do their business. They love these. The pads feel nice and toasty inside their shelters and I feel good knowing the temp is safe for them and not too hot. After this cold stretch we'll be ordering another spare.

    This is the best heating pad I have found for the Kitty Tube. It kept my cats warm even in this sub zero weather.

    I'd like to say that, I have been purchasing The Kitty Tube and its accessories for about 7 or 8 years now. They are a great product. The original company responds personally to any questions. In a world with lacking customer service, it's absolutley refreshing. Kudos`!

    I've ordered 3 of these now-2 for my outdoor cat and 1 for my son's cat. This is very well constructed, easy to clean and goes well in our kittytube and in a basket I have on the front porch. Our cat loves them! They are just warm enough and not too hot with excellent instructions included. Great product.

    This heating pad is wonderful! There are five kittens in The Kitty Hut & sometimes the mama cat nurses them in there, too. It keeps them warm & I feel a lot better knowing they are being kept warm in the colder temperatures of Pennsylvania.
